This popular design, often referred to as the “Bullet”, was most commonly sold as an aftermarket upgrade for higher end vehicles throughout the 20’s, but was also featured as factory equipment on some of the more rare and exotic vehicles of the time, including the Kissel “Gold Bug Speedster”, and the Jordan “Playboy” roadster.
Even though they have been gone for almost 3 quarters of a century, it is clear that they have not been forgotten. Original Type 20's have found a rebirth among the Traditional Hot Rod scene and even an occasional Modern Street Rod due to the non-business-as-usual design.
The E&J Type 20 embodies the spirit, quality, and craftsmanship of this era. No "weld it yourself" Ebay Sand-Cast Jig-saw Puzzles or fiberglass here…
